Norovirus Ready To Strike
Norovirus spreads from person to person and through contaminated food or
water and contact with contaminated surfaces. Traci Kokke with Mayo Clinic Health Systems in La Crosse says the norovirus doesn’t just show up in your home.
Now, the stomach flu is not your traditional flu, influenza. Therefore, a flu shot will not keep you from getting it. Currently, there is no treatment for norovirus. The best way to help prevent the sickness is proper hand washing and general cleanliness.
