Healthcare Sign Up to Continue During Open Enrollment

Although there’s been a big push to get people signed up for insurance on the federal and state health insurance exchanges, signing up isn’t the last step towards good health.  Mary Freiberg, executive director at the Scenic Bluffs Community Medical Center in Cashton, says there’s still a ton of education Americans need about paying for their healthcare

Freiberg has a staff of three that have been dedicated to helping people enroll on the federal exchange.  Although the deadline passed yesterday for those looking to be insured by January, many more are still expected to sign up in the coming weeks during the ongoing open enrollment period.
