Jackson County Might Need A Primary For Judge Race Next Year

Voters in one area county could have a long list of judge candidates to choose from next year…

Jackson County Judge Anna Becker and three other candidates have announced plans to run in April, meaning that a February primary is likely.  Becker took office in October, succeeding retired judge Thomas Lister.  Also taking out papers are former state Assemblyman Mark Radcliffe…former La Crosse County prosecutor Robyn Matousek…and attorney Daniel Diehn (dean).  All four had applied for the opening when Lister announced his retirement.
