Court Might Consider Sequestering Jury At End Of Anderson Trial

A murder trial starting tomorrow in La Crosse is expected to last into next week…but what happens if the jurors aren’t done deliberating before the weekend arrives?  Will they be sequestered?

Judge Elliott Levine says he’ll ‘play it by ear’ in the Mitrel Anderson case.  Anderson is being tried for stabbing another man to death at a La Crosse convenience store last year.  At a final pre-trial hearing today, attorneys on both sides said they couldn’t predict how long the trial might go.  Levine has set aside nine days for the trial, through Friday, December 19th.
