Kabat Defends City Raises

If you thought complaints about double digit percentage raises for some in

La Crosse city hall would sway mayor Tim Kabat, you’d be wrong.  Those raise are part of the coming year’s budget passed by the city council this month and that budget also is a half a million dollars smaller than last year.  So, about those raises?

Kabat says some in city hall deserve the pay bumps because they continue to do more work with fewer resources.
