Fire Department Update On Blast

It sounded horrible at the time, but the explosion you may have heard last

Wednesday from the Midwest Industrial Asphalt fire was actually right on cue. That’s according to La Crosse Fire Department Division Chief Craig Snyder.

The fire destroyed the 132 thousand gallon tank that was full of about 7 thousand gallons of asphalt and diesel. No indications yet as to what caused the explosion of blaze.
