Get Ready, Get Set, Hunt!

The Wisconsin DNR is reminding folks that first time gun deer license buyers

can get a price break on hunting licenses, and can recognize that special person who introduced them to the sport. The DNR’s Cathy Stepp explains.

Stepp says she expects a good harvest in other areas when the nine day gun season begins Saturday. The DNR has taken steps to address deer number issues up north, while the population is still healthy in the central and southern zones. Should be plentiful here in western Wisconsin as well.
