Think you’ll have problems finding deer as the 9 day gun deer season opens
Saturday? Scott Gunderson, DNR assistant deputy secretary, doesn’t think so. Especially in here in western Wisconsin.
He says so many deer that County Deer Advisory Councils have recommended possibly reducing the number of tags given out in this part of the state. Next spring councils will decide how many antlerless permits should be issued to achieve population goals.
