La Crosse County Has New Cellphone App To Find People Who Can Give CPR

It’s a new way to use your cellphone to help save a life…

Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance is introducing a new app for your mobile phone, to alert people trained in CPR about someone nearby who needs that treatment.  The Pulse Point app will be available just in La Crosse County at first, but will be expanded soon to other counties.  Someone who subscribes to Pulse Point will get word of a cardiac emergency when 9-1-1 is called, and will get directions on how to reach the person who needs to be revived.
