Tourism Discussed At Cambpell Board Meeting
La Crosse’s convention bureau could get larger in the near future.
The C-V-B is making plans to include several communities in the area within its tourism-promoting activities. Former state senator Dan Kapanke tells the Campbell town board that several communities are close to approving an agreement:
Kapanke hopes that the regional C-V-B can be in place next year. He points out that La Crosse will lose out on some free tourist promotion the next two summers, when the French Island welcome center is shut down for remodeling.
