Onalaska Remains On Track For Road Improvements
When Onalaska City Engineer, Jarrod Holter sat down at a budgetary meeting
last week, $8 million was a price that he saw for capitol city improvements. Got to start somewhere. When the meeting concluded, about $3.8 million was the agreed upon price for the budget. Which Holter says……still gets stuff done.
The city is considering a proposed budget with total spending of $8.5 million, up 2.5 percent from last year. The property tax will cover $5.4 million of the city’s 2015 expenses, up 3.9 percent from 2014. The budget still needs city council approval.
