WTC President Hopes Walker Visit To Campus Will Mean Greater Chance For Funding

Two days after winning his second term, Governor Scott Walker celebrated by doing a fast tour of technical schools around Wisconsin.

Will that kind of attention help the technical colleges get special access to the governor?  Western Technical College president Lee Rasch says being able to work closely with Walker could help his campus get more funding:

Walker toured the W-T-C welding lab near Ward Avenue on Thursday, and praised the local training programs to help young people learn skills for high-paying jobs.
