Selfie Leads To Arrests In Black River Falls

A 19 year old Black River Falls man helped police break open a huge

burglary ring and bad check cashing scheme……with a selfie.

Black River Falls Police Chief Patrick LaBarbera says he’s never seen anything like it in his 34 years of law enforcement. This week, police tied several robberies and stolen checks cashed at a credit union tied to the suspect, plus a 37 year old woman and her 17 year old son.
