Whooping Cough Cases Double

Only a handful of Wisconsin counties have seen double digit cases of the

whooping cough this year. And La Crosse County is one of them. Almost the double the amount from last year.

 

Patients have ranged in age from five months to 29 years. Jo Ann Felmey with the La Crosse County Health Department explains why the difference in age ranges.

For the past 2 years now, Wisconsin has lead the country in what could be the worst national outbreak of whooping cough in 50 years.
