Winona Fires Building Inspector

The City of Winona could be looking for a city building inspector.

This after an inspector was dismissed from his job in connection with alleged misuse of his position for personal gain. City leaders are not saying much on the firing of Greg Olson…..only to say that his last day on the job was Friday. Olson says he has filed a grievance with his union over the dismissal. Olson had been suspended from his job in 2012 for a week and had been the subject of other previous complaints.
