Are There Ebola Concerns In La Crosse?

Patients with Ebola in the U-S have made it to distant locations around the

country…Texas, Georgia, and Nebraska. No cases reported in the La Crosse area yet, and medical professionals think it’s highly unlikely that the African virus will reach this region soon.  But they have to prepare for the worst, which is what the Mayo hospital staff in La Crosse is doing.  Mayo infection control specialist Kelly Dixon describes what’s been going on in La Crosse:

Infection experts point out that Ebola only spreads through direct contact with bodily fluids.  No one in Wisconsin has been diagnosed with Ebola.
