Wednesday Hearing Could Determine Fate Of Campbell Police Chief

Dismissal, demotion, or discipline…

Those are all options that the Campbell town board could discuss tomorrow night, in a special session about the future of Police Chief Tim Kelemen.  Last month, the board heard a report from a special investigator who looked into charges that Kelemen harassed a local political activist by signing him up for internet websites.  Demonstrators have opposed new town rules restricting political protests on a footbridge above I-90.  Kelemen was placed on leave four months ago because of those charges, and reached a plea agreement on a criminal charge of misusing the internet.
