Whitehall Man Facing Trial For Allegedly Molesting Female Cancer Patient In Hospital

A trial is planned in La Crosse for a Whitehall man charged with having sexual contact with a female friend as she was sleeping in a local hospital. 

Terry Stone pleads ‘not guilty’ to second-degree sexual assault.  Police say the incident happened last month in a room at Gundersen in La Crosse, where the woman was being treated for cancer.  Investigator Tim O’Neill says Stone went to the woman’s hospital bed because she was moaning:

But the woman says she was asleep, and woke up to find Stone molesting her.  Stone has been ordered to have no contact with the woman, or the hospital.
