Happel Hits Education Themes Hard in Campaign
Tracie Happel figures she can speak with authority on at least one issue as she runs for a seat in the Wisconsin assembly. As a teacher in the La Crosse school district, the republican figures she has some knowledge of education matters.
One of Happel’s themes on education issues has been the need to replace the controversial Common Core standards with something created on the local level. Happel faces off against democrat Steve Doyle on November 4th for the 94th district assembly seat.
