Holman Dead After Car Surfing Accident

An 18 year old Holman man is dead…..after a car surfing crash late Saturday night.

La Crosse Police say alcohol is believed to be a factor in the death of Zach Vang. He died early Sunday at a La Crosse hospital. La Crosse Police say they were first told from Holmen Police that Vang received injuries after being assaulted at the Holman High School. Cops later found out at the hospital that Vang died of injuries sustained in a car surfing crash near East Avenue in La Crosse. The investigation continues and an autopsy is scheduled in Madison for later today.
