Sue Dillenbeck Named Mrs. Oktoberfest

She’s been keeping the secret since early summer…

Now, Sue Dillenbeck of La Crosse is able to tell people that she’s the new Mrs. Oktoberfest.  Dillenbeck, who works at a local insurance company, was introduced as Mrs. O at a reception Tuesday night.  But she learned of the honor months ago, and describes the sneaky way that fest officials broke the news to her:

Dillenbeck knew that she was being considered for Mrs. Oktoberfest, and recalled that Aliesch held the title a few years ago, but she didn’t expect to get the honor herself.
