Police Plan Oktoberfest Response
A more concentrated response planned this year by La Crosse police for Oktoberfest. Chief Ron Tischer tells us he’s got extra guys to handle what might turn into booze filled mayhem around the university. Like what happened with last year’s car tippings
Tischer says expect a stronger presence of state troopers as well as officers in plainclothes mingling with students who are tasked with stopping trouble before it begins.
