La Crosse School District Board Ready For Budget Talks

The La Crosse School Board was given the timetable for upcoming budge talks

with the district Monday night. Never an easy task says District Business Manager Janet Rossiter, who tells us there are some pieces that need to be put in place before hard talks can start.

Hard financial numbers won’t be known until the late September student head count. The board will take action on the budget October 6th, a budget hearing October 20th and the complete budget should be adopted on October 27th.
