Walk, Bike Study To Happen At UW-L

UW-L will use a grant from the UW-L Foundation to conduct a study called UW-L

ON THE GO. Volunteers will conduct opinion surveys, focus groups, interviews and counts of bikers and pedestrians. All in the name of safety. UW-La Crosse associate professor James Longhurst says this study is needed.

Data gathered will help shape a safe and sustainable bicycle-pedestrian plan for campus and a first-time application for national recognition as a Bicycle Friendly University. The survey starts in two weeks.
