UW-L Welcomes International Students Today
New and returning International students at UW-La Crosse will be welcomed
to the La Crosse campus this afternoon at 3:30 with their own ice SCREAM social, featuring the Screaming Eagle Marching Band. And as campus staff welcome them back….the community will welcome back something else. The economic impact those students bring with them.
Jay Lokken with UW-L international education says the impact felt in the community is in the millions. A more solid number will be collected and released sometime in mid September.
