Reduced Prison Time Allowed For W. Salem Driver In Fatal 2002 Crash
(flury)
A 14-year prison term for vehicular homicide has been reduced to 12 years served for a West Salem man…
Randall Flury ran a red light on Highway 16 near Woodman’s one night in 2002, crashing into two other cars. One of the other drivers, Joanne Brague (braig), died in the accident. Flury’s blood alcohol was point-2-3, and he had admitted to drinking about a dozen beers before the collision. A reduced prison term was granted, because the classification for the crime has changed. Flury is still ordered to spend more than 20 years under extended supervision.
