Who’s The Better Prosecutor! A.G. Candidate Happ Says It Won’t Be A Big Election Issue

On the day after Susan Happ won the Democratic primary for attorney general in Wisconsin, her Republican opponent’s campaign criticized her for going negative.

The campaign manager for Brad Schimel also dismissed Happ, the Jefferson County D-A, as being ‘inexperienced’ and having an ‘incredibly thin record’ of only prosecuting seven jury trials.  Schimel is the D-A of Waukesha County.  Happ says her office has prosecuted some serious crimes:

While campaigning this week in La Crosse, Happ said she doesn’t think the number of trials each candidate has done will make much difference to voters in November.
