School District Recovers From Act 10 Three Years Later

It’s been three years since new collective bargaining laws did away with

certain job protections for teachers in the state. The La Crosse School District saw over 80 staff resignations at that time……but things seemed to have calmed since then. Human Resources Director, Steve Salerno tells us La Crosse continues to be a top choice for teachers to teach.

Salerno says this is the first summer since Act 10 was initiated that they can sit back and find out exactly where they are staffing wise. In a good place now says Salerno.
