Magazine; La Crosse One of Best Places to Live

Absolutely, positively have to play outdoors?  Few places are as good of a destination as La Crosse.  That’s according to the new list of 16 Best Towns Ever in Outside magazines September edition.  La Crosse comes in at number 11.  For good reason, says Sue Howe, executive director of the recently formed Outdoor Recreation Alliance in La Crosse

In the magazine rankings, which are essentially a popularity contest, La Crosse scores high marks for an extensive network of hiking, biking and skiing trails.
