Kabat Hopeful for Barron Island Projects
Suddenly, a couple of new developments on a long-underutilized chunk of property in La Crosse seem imminent. Multi-million dollar plans are in the works for Barron Island with the city’s public works board this week agreeing to sell some city property off to assist in one of the projects. Mayor Tim Kabat sees the two developments as sign of a better economy
No firm date on construction for either of the Barron Island developments but both involve residential buildings.
