Judge David Rice has been assigned Tim Kelemen’s case, after a La Crosse judge recused himself last week. Kelemen is being represented by attorney Jim Birnbaum, who says the angry phone calls against Campbell’s restrictions on political protests repeatedly jammed the police line:
Birnbaum tells reporters that many messages to the police threatened officers with harm. Kelemen has been charged with using the internet to harass one local Tea Party protester.
