County Seeks Non Binding Referendums

The La Crosse County Board of Supervisors will place a

referendum on the November ballot asking voters whether the state minimum wage should be raised to $10.10. Though it’s a non-biding vote, County Clerk, Ginny Denkmeyer says some people do get confused on the non-binding part though.

Another advisory referendum on the ballot will ask voters if the state should expand the Badgercare program by accepting available federal Medicaid funding.
