Friends Of Missing Lax Man Look For Him On North Side

Three nights ago, a La Crosse man decided to walk home after a boat ride, and hasn’t been heard from since.

Today, friends of Shalim (sha-LEEM) Augustine have gathered to search an area of north La Crosse near Copeland Park, where Augustine was last seen Tuesday night.  One of those friends is Jeff Kulas (COOL-us), who does not think Augustine would have stayed close to the Black River:

Augustine has worked as a bartender at Huck Finn’s on French Island, and was boating with friends on Tuesday.  His house is five miles from where he began walking.
