2 Big Boats At Once Will Share La Crosse Riverfront, 4 Times This Summer

Riverboat lovers in La Crosse may get to double their pleasure a few times this season…

The city Convention and Visitor Bureau says two large paddlewheelers, the Queen of the Mississippi and the American Queen, are both scheduled to dock in La Crosse at the same time on four different days this year.  The first time either boat will get to La Crosse is on August 7th.  Flooding on the Mississippi may prevent the boats from traveling this far north on the river until the first week of August.  Paddlewheeler visits are now scheduled on eight days from August to early October.
