Badger State Games Coming To UW-L Saturday

Volunteers are needed this Saturday for the Track & Field meet of the

Badger State Games being held at UW-L. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt and a $10 gift card from Howie’s. Wait……….Badger State games here? Yes says Jeremiah Burish from the La Crosse Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. And it may be a permanent fixture.

Burish says they were contacted by the owner of the games, The City of Wausau, 6 weeks ago to host the track and field portion of the statewide games this year and possibly long term. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10:00 and should be over by 4:00. They ask that all volunteers arrive by 9:30am in order to pick up their shirt, gift card, and instructions of duties.
