Docking Remains Minimal at River Entrance to City

Very likely, this will be another summer of boats just floating by La Crosse and not stopping at Riverside Park.  Without transient docking at the river entrance to downtown, the city is just something to admire from the very slow no wake zone.  Someday that will change, vows city park and rec boss, Steve Carlyon, maybe in concert with developments with the Riverside North property just upriver

Carlyon says, depending on funding, some sort of transient dock system could be in the water off Riverside park as early as next summer.
