Iverson Agreement Likely Released Today

We’ll likely know today terms of the separation agreement between the city of La Crosse and police sergeant Alan Iverson.  The city and Iverson agreed a couple of weeks ago on a plan for him to leave the department but state law kept the details from being made public until today, barring some last minute challenge by Iverson.  We’ve heard that whatever payout there is for Iverson does not appear to be excessive and may just include accumulated vacation time and sick days.  Iverson was arrested earlier this year in a domestic case and has since pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor but will not be able to work as a police officer for two years.
