2 Apply For Same Sex Marriage Licenses

Only two so far. Same sex marriage licenses applied for in La Crosse County.

According to the clerk’s office, though they have received numerous calls about the application process, only two couple actually have filed the application. There is now a five day waiting period on the license.

 

No word yet on how many have been applied for in neighboring counties.

Meanwhile, a federal appeals court will not decide until tomorrow night at the earliest whether gay marriages in Wisconsin should be put on hold.
