Physician Quits OWI Task Force After Disillusionment

A big thumbs down for the Wisconsin DOT’s much-heralded task force on drunk driving.  Four members of the task force quit on Thursday for a number of reasons.  UW physician Richard Brown is one of the four.  Wonders whether the task force’s efforts were just window dressing

Brown and the others that quit also are critical of the influence of the state’s Tavern League on the task force and its recommendations.
