D-Day Remembered In Madison Today

 

World War 2 veterans were honored at the state capitol in Madison during the

70 years ago today, more than 160 thousand Allied troops landed along a 50 mile stretch of heavily fortified French coastline, to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France.
