Facebook and Craigslist. The state Ag department is warning people that documentation that comes with the animals may be wrong……intentionally. And some are being shipped to the U.S. with rabies. Heather Harkin with the Coulee Region Humane Society says look to a breeder first before shopping elsewhere.
State veterinarian Paul McGraw urges puppy shoppers to inspect the breeding and sales locations where their new puppies are kept and reputable outfits would gladly let buyers do that.
