Construction Work on Hold Over Long Weekend

More cops, less construction.  That’s what the Wisconsin DOT promises for this Memorial Day weekend.  The DOT says the work on I90 at La Crosse and Onalaska is among the long list of projects on which work will be suspended from noon on Friday until six in the morning on Tuesday.  The construction sites will still have to be navigated but actual work won’t be occurring.   The DOT also warns that police across the state will be out in force in order to crack down on those who don’t wear their seatbelts as part of the state’s annual Click it or Ticket campaign.
