County Board To Visit Bank Building

With an important vote expected during the summer, La Crosse County board members will get a tour of some real estate tonight.

The board meeting will be bookended with tours of the Associated Bank building and the current administrative center.  The county might soon buy the bank for office space, and county planning specialist Brian Fukuda says sending in supervisors too early wasn’t considered a good idea:

Also, Fukuda says the April election was a factor in the decision to wait for a tour, since a few board seats changed hands after last month’s voting.
