Kwik Trip Plans Building On Sparta’s East Side

A Kwik Trip store located on Sparta’s east side is about to go under a huge

facelift. But Sparta City Community Development director, Todd Fahning tells us that company executives wouldn’t agree to annexation without the ability to sell beer. Now that a referendum passed last month allowing beer and wine sales in the city, Fahning says the project can go forward.

Fahning says city officials signed an agreement last month to link the new Kwik Trip to the city’s infrastructure, and eventually annex the building as long as the city can issue Class A licenses. A done deal now.
