Rains Complicate Pothole Fixes

Spring has certainly been the rainy season this year.  And not coincidentally, the pothole season.  La Crosse public works director Dale Hexom says ongoing rains have made it close to impossible for the pothole patching material to stay where crews put it.  That, and some streets are just so bad

Hexom says concrete streets especially are also bad with joints that continue to crumble making gaps to fill and refill ever bigger.
