Another Big Turnout for Drop Off

A trend may be forming for medication take back days in the area.  As part of a national campaign, five sites in La Crosse county collected drugs of all kinds on Saturday.  Just about 19 hundred pounds collected. Almost exactly the same as the last big drop off day in October.  Onalaska police sergeant Jasson Jobe says he’s encouraged by the postive feedback he’s getting from the public on the special days

 

 

Jobe says he doesn’t have traffic counts for all sites yet, but in ONalaska, over four hundred cars stopped at the PD to drop off old meds over a four hour period.
