Eh Park Is Good Enough To Dump In

Seems as though a Sparta guy, wanting to rid himself of some household items,

decided the local dump was just not good enough. So he used the city park as his personal dumping grounds. And he’s been nailed for it.

 

On March 31st an employee from Sparta Parks and Recreation notified the PD that someone illegally dumped several large items, including mattresses and other household furniture items in the park. The officer reviewed video surveillance and saw a guy emptying the items out of U-Haul truck. A receipt located in one of the items eventually led police to 20 year old Michael Feltner.

 

On Friday, Feltner was interviewed and admitted to dumping the items in the park after he found out the dump was closed. Feltner told police he was in hurry to get rid of items as he had to return the U-Haul truck to La Crosse. Feltner was cited for Illegal Dumping.
