Committee to Consider Best Method for City Employee Incentives

City hall wants its workers to come home.  A La Crosse city council committee will now consider how to incentivize residency for its employees.  A fine way to help the city’s neighborhoods, says city council president Dick Swantz, but not the only way

Swantz says there could be several ways to encourage workers to live in the city, like extra health and retirement benefits, pay bonuses or even help with real estate loans.
