Woman Busted For Stealing Nursing Home Patches

A 44 year old La Farge woman has been arrested on multiple counts of Possession of a schedule II controlled substance and Theft, stemming from an investigation into missing Fentanyl patches and Vicodin tablets from an area nursing home.

Violet Thelen following an extensive investigation into reports of missing items from the Vernon Manor Nursing Home in Viroqua.

During an interview with Vernon County Investigators, Thelen admitted to taking the patches from the nursing home. Thelen was employed as a Registered Nurse at Vernon Manor.
