Hoffman Sworn in Today

A little late.   But Hubert Hoffman finally can take his seat on the La Crosse county board.  Hoffman’s swearing in was delayed by a recount in his tight race.  It also kept him from taking part in the organizational meeting of the board, meaning he didn’t get to vote on whether to retain Tara Johnson as board chair.  And, when we talked to him shortly after the recount, Hoffman shared his suspicions about that being the point of the recount.  Angry?

Now, only the district 9 seat remains empty.  Andrew Londre resigned the seat shortly after winning election this month.
